An extensive extended journey around Australia has been cancelled days after the tragic passing of an senior woman who was abandoned by the cruise liner on a distant island.

Suzanne Rees had been hiking on the tropical location with fellow passengers from the cruise ship, but parted ways from the excursion for a break. The liner left without her and came back several hours later after the ship staff became aware the lady was unaccounted for.
