Vinted Shoppers Share Anger About Size Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
This online marketplace has altered its measurement guidelines for female and kids' apparel failing to inform all users about the change.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a different size category versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification.
The company said the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to examine their items and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Previously, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

One content creator, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, located in Scotland, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Required Changes
Another shopper, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential for me since losing part of my income," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: previously, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods following member complaints.
